Privacy policy

This website is run by LB Electricals, the trading name of Lewis Burton, a sole trader providing domestic electrical services across Doncaster, Sheffield and South Yorkshire. Lewis Burton is the data controller for the personal information you send through this site. For anything in this policy, contact us at lb-electricals@hotmail.com or on 07467 381272.

The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the quote form: your name, phone number, the town or area the job is in, a description of the job, and — if you choose to provide them — your email address and up to three photos. We ask for it for one reason: so we can contact you about your enquiry and price the job.

Browsing the site doesn't require an account and doesn't collect personal information.

When you submit the quote form, your enquiry is sent by email to the LB Electricals inbox. This website does not store your enquiry in any database — nothing you submit is kept on the website or its server once the email has been sent.

Photos you attach are forwarded with that email and then discarded; the website does not keep copies.

The quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and connection to make that judgement; it is Cloudflare's tool and operates under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't see or keep that technical data.

Analytics runs only if you consent through the cookie banner. If you don't consent, no analytics cookies are set and your visit isn't counted in our statistics. You can change your mind at any time through the banner's settings.

Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser, so we don't have to ask on every page.

Enquiries live in the LB Electricals business mailbox, and we keep them for as long as they're useful for dealing with your job and our records — for example, so we can refer back to what was quoted if you come back to us later.

If you'd like your enquiry deleted, email lb-electricals@hotmail.com and we'll remove it from the mailbox.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For any of these, email lb-electricals@hotmail.com.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
